Thailand?

Reminds me a little of Bang Phra, though I don't think it actually is that.

Well lets try and kick start some life here.

This place is a Provincial Capital. Remote and rarely visited by foreigners.

There, that should do it !!

Well done, a good long shot !

Sam Neua airfield Laos.

Sam Neua, or northern swamp, is the capital city of Houaphan Province in north east Laos.

Over to you.

Clint.

Sorry Chevvron I blinked ! It is indeed Mount Farm or probably USAAF Station 234 at the time of the photo.

It was the condition (and Oxfordshire countryside) gave it away - I read somewhere the USAAF moved in before it was finished. I've driven round there trying to find traces but there's nothing to see on the ground, just from the air.

Open House.
