Hey,
Just spotted that we were getting hits to our website from this forum and wondered what all the commotion was about!
Essentially setting up a website is click, click, type and click these days (our site in particular is based upon WordPress which makes life very easy).
If you/anyone else would like some pointers on where to go just reply to this thread and if you really are stuck I might be able to give some time over in helping you setup a site (register domain/hosting, setup WP installation and design a theme).

Went solo after 17 launches in a Cadet Mk3 at HMS Condor back in 1967. Bill Emsley was my instructor and Lovat Fraser did my check ride. I occasionally bump into Lovat at functions such as the Leuchars Summer ball. I still remember the look on his face when I (as a very green cadet) said to him, "Excuse me sir, is it normal for that Swallow to launch with its airbrakes out?"

Controversial Suggestion
As the VGS system now comes under 2FTS, shouldn't the squadrons be re-numbered like those in the other FTSs and allow a plethora of famous number plates to be reactivated as Reserve squadrons? Discuss.......

617 VGS
622,
617VGS Did a grand tour of SE England, starting at Hendon, followed by Bovingdon and finally Manston. Was a CI (G1, C & B Wood, B Glass) at Manston '81-'87.
Have great friends from those days, think the current Air Cadet Gliding sch-mozzle nothing short of farcical!
'866 (competition number, not VGS!)
