Then we meet at dawn. Please take your lieutenants with you, Monsieur.

We need to exhume post 13069: http://www.pprune.org/aviation-histo...ml#post5879968

Still looks good mate! You sure can't beat felt-tips
Why so quiet your end mate? Exam time at the College of Aeronautics and you gotta watch for cheats?

The challenge...American?

Evening mate.

I have been on leave all week and daughter has been to stay, that's why I have been quiet.

The challenge was American, circa 1979 I believe. Very few built as it was thought the design was flawed both in terms of structural integrity and aerodynamic stability.

One went to Queensland!

Purchased as a kit for home building.

Well, we all got through a fair bit of alcohol - and she's a doctor!!

The next question is:
...am I going to make 5000 posts by the end of the year?

Are you kidding?! Few bottles of wine, put your mouth into 5th gear and it'll be done in a week!

Is it the "Polliwagen" from Joseph Alveraz?
