Not Canada David - not the Americas!
I'll be honest, I only have found the following information about it:
- designer's name
- year of manufacture
- country of manufacture
- the registration of the aircraft under two countries
- manufacturing organisation
- three photos
- number of seats

As you are all "light off" I'll post two clues so that you all have equal chance in wrestling with them when you are back:
1. the aircraft was registered in two countries, one was YU-
2. 2 seater
Remember it was manufactured in 1937

Art'noon Martin,
Only time for a quick look I'm afraid, and all that I can find in the time available is the Polish LWS-2 Air Ambulance ??
I've found a picture and it does have a high-wing with V-struts and a similar tail and skid, but no spats, the site info did say it was a 2-seater. Wikipedia says Produced in 1937 and only one built. Reg SP-ATP, but can't find any trace of Serbian registration and I guess that might have been after it fell into German hands during the war!
In the unlikely event of it being correct, then Open House please.

Hi TC,
Sorry but it isn't Polish. You are in the right part of the world though!
If it helps it is not on Wikipedia. I have Googled it and can get only three refernces to it, and only one with any kind of information. However, ther are other sites that do show it in photo form (three photos)

OK then, seeing as no one else had a crack at it since coffee time, I've just got time for a quick look at some registrations before I have to go, the only thing I can find is the Rogozarski SIM VIa Reg YU-PEZ
I can't find any pictures or dual registrations, but it's the only" single type" on the Yugoslav registry (I think it wasn't called Serbia in '37, but I may be wrong there). I've found out that it was a two-seat tourist type with a Walter inline engine, which looks more like your image than the radial that my first guess had!!

Helping hand
Rogozarski SIM VIa Reg YU-PEZ
All my remaining clues will direct you all straight to it so I'm not sure what to do. Guessing the country will be a great lead to it!!!

Thanks for the helping hand, I think that skytrain would eat this one up! I'm lost with registrations.
Do you confirm that it was on the Serbia/Yugoslav listing for the preiod 1937 to early forties ? I have to go soon, so to be fair, hold the clues 'til LM's light comes on.
OK then, I've tried a different tack on tne registrations and found the KOD-3 / J.Kruze 2-seater on the Latvian registry (once again, the ony example) YL-ABL which also carried YU-KOD.
Now to try and find some pictures

Bang on mate!!!
I have a couple more images but they are on my laptop and I don't have it fired up! Yes, it is the LKOD KOD-3 from Latvia. Note that although records show it as registered YU-KOD I have just noticed in this image it is YL-KOD! I guess the YU- reference was a bum steer!
YOU HAVE CONTROL

Thanks RR,
I think it's more like a bum bit of signwriting/lettering, as that would make it another Latvian a/c and it's not on that register. Also, YU-KOD doesn't cross ref on the Serbian/Yugoslav one either, but I doubt that they're too worried about it now!! Thinking about it; if it wasn't for that "bum-steer" I wouldn't have found it and then, if I'd cross checked it, I may have rejected it
Unfortunately, I have to go now, so it's another Open House
Nice Challenge mate, and I promise I will get my home line sorted soon, so that I can inflict some collateral damage on you buggers!!
