First chance on line since this morning.

This thing seems to have six engines, and I'm baffled by the jobbers up front, because they simply don't look like canards.

Did it originate in the Nevada desert?

Lunchtime and something to have a shot at!

Is it the Boeing Model 804-4, Boeing's Entry for the WS-110A study ?

Not sure about the final dash number, as the Model 404 appears to have had ten iterations and the image I found was as your image except the foreplanes didn't seem to be folded up!

Didn't we have something very similar to this only a few days ago, looking like a Dornier?

Do you mean garlic?

Your sense of smell isn't working properly! Not French.

I have to go offline for just over an hour, so herewith clue for you all to be going on with.

Only one was built and it was the only floatplane/flying boat ever built by this company.

PS,

You now know that it didn't carry a red, white and blue tricolor or a red star.

Might have had black crosses though...........

Surely that narrows down the field considerably.
