A Bretagne?

that's not a DC-4 wing, is it? And wasn't the 4 a three-prop machine?

Looks like a Bretagne, but there again that had 3 bladed props I think?

I'm guessing its Troyes airport in France?

The Bretagne had two engine options. The nacelle and wing check out. Viz: http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviatio.../9/0847996.jpg

I have one ready to go in the even I'm right.....! How's the hyena?

Shouldn't we be seeing more dihedral and a longer wing-tip in Doug's photo?

maybe but check out the top and bottom air scoops on the nacelle, the trim balances and the hinge combing. All check exactly with the Bretagne I posted earlier, including the 4-blade prop.

And whether I'm right or wrong I think its a cool looking machine!

Undoubtedly, I remember seeing this and the Flamant in a French Television series called the "Aeronauts" in the early 70's. It was years before I figured out what they were. A bit like some of the challenges here!

Ah, the Aeronauts... two crazy fighter jocks (LMs not listening?). I think it was at Dijon

I'm also now doubting my answer - some Bretagnes had double air scoops atop the nacelle! Er ....

I'm confident again ....Google Image Result for http://www.oldprops.ukhome.net/SO30P%2037%20%27F-BANZ%27%20d1.jpg

From memory they were like Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. The dubbing was awful but the aviation was superb. Vautours, Mirages, Balzac, T-33, Neptunes, etc and with a lot of aerial shots..memories.

That's what I keep seeing...

What about the outer engine of the Armagnac? Then again why does it have to be French?

Night Martin!

Here's an easy one....
