Not German built, but German designers.

Reg,

I think some more clues are needed - everyone seems to have lost interest.

Some of us give frequent clues and very early to keep that interest going......................

Think so, too. Although hate spilling out clues without a stab

Ok, gents. Think of a German aircraft and think where guys from its manufacturer would go to design an aircraft, and how it would look.

I will always ensure that challenges are solved with a maximum time after post of 24 hours.

I prefer to use about six hours to give everyone a chance and keep the thread alive.

Nacht.

Let me add for the evening shift one more clue in addition to the one three posts above: a NATO country now.

Edit to add: End of 1930s. A pioneer company in its country.

Turning in now. See you in the morning.
Reg

Ho hum, looks like I just missed you again Reg, sleep well!

everyone seems to have lost interest
Well, I haven't, it's just that my current "dog/house sitting" duties are proving very intrusive on my daily schedule. Apart from first thing his morning, when I was taking care of my WC challenge, this is the first time I've had a chance to look in, all my normal breaks are taken up with "walkies" etc!!

Rather surprised to find your bipe still here! I'm going to have a try at unraveling your clues, at least there is now an idea of the year to start the ball rolling, along with a recent addition to the list of NATO countries, but just how recent

Dog snoring her head off now, I'll see if I can find something before I ZZZzzz too!

How close can one get without hitting?

No.

Rephrasing: Not AEKKEA but not far.

Not an RK-26. It is not a German aircraft. It is designed by German designers and looks much like a German aircraft, but it is an "independent" local design, not far away from where the AEKKEA-Raab was built. Czech engine, according to Jane's 1946 and Wikipedia.

Turkish Nuri Demirag Nu.D.36

Not really deserved after all the groundwork from others but Janes 1946 was the final pointer....

Now, there you are!

Turkish.

Dubbed to look like a Bücker (Bucker, or "Buccer")

Take us out for the next challenge!

Exactly as I had designed it......

Greece and Turkey became NATO members in the "second wave" 1952.
