Silhouette challenge
Reg,
I think some more clues are needed - everyone seems to have lost interest.
Some of us give frequent clues and very early to keep that interest going......................

Think so, too. Although hate spilling out clues without a stab
Ok, gents. Think of a German aircraft and think where guys from its manufacturer would go to design an aircraft, and how it would look.

I prefer to use about six hours to give everyone a chance and keep the thread alive.
Nacht.

Let me add for the evening shift one more clue in addition to the one three posts above: a NATO country now.
Edit to add: End of 1930s. A pioneer company in its country.
Turning in now. See you in the morning.

Ho hum, looks like I just missed you again Reg, sleep well!
Well, I haven't, it's just that my current "dog/house sitting" duties are proving very intrusive on my daily schedule. Apart from first thing his morning, when I was taking care of my WC challenge, this is the first time I've had a chance to look in, all my normal breaks are taken up with "walkies" etc!!
Rather surprised to find your bipe still here! I'm going to have a try at unraveling your clues, at least there is now an idea of the year to start the ball rolling, along with a recent addition to the list of NATO countries, but just how recent
Dog snoring her head off now, I'll see if I can find something before I ZZZzzz too!

Not an RK-26. It is not a German aircraft. It is designed by German designers and looks much like a German aircraft, but it is an "independent" local design, not far away from where the AEKKEA-Raab was built. Czech engine, according to Jane's 1946 and Wikipedia.
