British Airways Landrovers in the 80s/90s

Hi Lads!

First post in this forum, I am tryin to look for pictures, and diagrams of the old BA Landrovers, as I wish to paint my Landrover 90 in such a way. I have tried looking EVERYWHERE and Googled just about everything.... I was wondering wheter there might be some info lurking round here.

Any Help would be greatly Appreciated

Thanks

Chris

Hi welcome onboard, Now that's a tricky one

I guess the Matchbox cargo lorries of the 80's/90's were the same details as the landrovers??

There's a few listed on e-bay at the moment if that's any help??

BA released an Airport set in the 90's with a truck, van etc.

What about the Corgi Transit bus??

There was a Matchbox BA coach in earlier colours - a lighter blue.

I hope this helps.

Lamboo1

Ours was navy blue with a yellow roof. Anti collision light was on a short pole (approx 3") BA logo on doors with some having Engineering or other dept title.
White bumbers on most. Both short & long wheel base used. Some out stations varied.

Sometimes could be confused with CAA/BAA Landies in low light, as CAA/BAA were black with yellow roof.

Chris,
The BA Museum & Archives have photos of a wide range of ground support vehicles. See their website for contact details.
