Flight magazine on-line archive

I don't think this has been posted here before, but it was posted on a RN board and I thought others would be interested :

Seems to be pretty complete

Wow - well spotted. They've done a lot of hard work here- what the web is all about.

Fantastic work

Just a quick look at Jan 1950 is fascinating, but does anybody know why the photos have been overwritten- is it something to do with copyright and royalties at the time of publishing?

Many thanks for making this known; superb.

Looking at the back issues from the '50s, it makes fascinating and occasionally depressing reading against http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=312926

Absolutely fantastic. Well done, Flight magazine.

I found 2 letters I wrote in the 70's, one a "Troubleshooter" and one in the Letters section, in minutes. Whoever made the search function work so well deserves a pay rise.

What I found slightly depressing is what an opinionated cuss I was then. What really worries me is whether I still am.

We need people of strong will around so we who have trouble sorting the wheat from the chaff are given some direction. On the other hand, you do live in a country noted for its eccentrics, but we need them too for a reality check. I think you are in good company here on Pprune, and safe.

Absolutely marvellous site (Flight). Many thanks.

Yes, excellent link and resource, thank you! Especially since the AW&ST archives are nowhere near as well organized.
