Hello Fitter2,

No, I wasn't at Sywell, but I have been fascinated by the Luciole from the moment the first news of it filtered across from France around 2006. To be able to power an aeroplane with a small four stroke industrial engine seemed like the answer to a homebuilder's dream.

As soon as I saw that V-twin (Briggs & Stratton Vanguard or Honda), both have been used), I was pretty sure it was the Luciole. There is also the Czech SD-1 with the same engines, so I did need to do a search first.

Here's the next one:

I don't know what aircraft it is; but I love the warning decal above the artificial horizon...

LH-10 Ellipse?

Edited to say, no, it can't be. How about a Rutan Long-Eze?

Fitter2. Not a Rutan design either ?? But is closely related to the Long-EZ ?? just added this bit to ease any confusion ??

Well, after 1200 views and a couple of very well educated attempts, time for a small clueette ? This particular aircraft is based at my local airport .... Norwich (EGSH) (NWI) ... and actually landed in front of my eyes this afternoon ! propelled by its pusher propeller, with its winglets glistening in the late sun ?
