Sorry, not the Vickers Vancouver, Vedette or Viking.. Are you sure they are RR Falcon motors?

I'm not sure of anything mate. But I can now see the "Rolls Royce" plaque.

Canadian connection
So the connection could be something else, and this is a non-Canadian aircraft?

The mystery aircraft has a significant place in Canadian aviation history.
The first example of this aircraft was not Rolls Royce powered, but subsequent production aircraft were powered by the original Rolls Royce Eagle aero engine.

From the clues so far, I guess it could be the Felixstowe F.3 ??

SincoTC is correct. In 1920, the Canadian Air Board sponsored a project to conduct the first ever Trans Canada flight. The leg from Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec, to Winnipeg, Manitoba was flown by LtCol. Leckie and Major Hobbs in the Felixstowe F.3 to determine the feasability of such flights for future air mail and passenger service.

Your turn.

Sorry Aviate, not the Fi-103

You think correctly Mel, it is the Blohm & Voss BV 40 Glider-Fighter of 1944

No takers, I did not think it was that difficult. It first flew late 1910s.

Thanks Mel,

Nothing else prepared at the moment, but this one I had should be an easy one!

Not the Vickers Viking Bri. Similar type of aircraft but this was a twin.

The background regarding this aircraft is mixed. Both the British and the USA had a hand in it.
