Mock-up shots.

Two prototypes built (Wiki) but the front framing was slightly different.

This will clinch it...

I think the mock-up guys were smoking pot when making the middle shot, but the throttle count is correct...

(...and top photo at right...look at the large engine nacelle....)

Well I'm sure the answer to this must be obvious, but I'm missing it completely. 4 jets, 2 per "pod" I presume...so similar era to the B-45/XB-46? Covered all the B- and XB- sequence and can't see anything there

I'm underwhelmed by the response. Powered by a Lycoming O-320. Early versions crashed during spin training, resulting in a mod.

Is the "feature" the navigator's position?
