Stavanger, Norway?
Stavanger (Sola) airport as it was in early 1952 with Comet G-ALZK there for de-icing trials.
(For obvious reasons I erased "Stavanger" from the billboard alongside "Lufthavn").

Almost..... Only got MS Paint on this PC but a certain amount of evidence (obviously the last 2 of the registration but also the aircrafts name & a sign with the airports name) has been removed.

It's somewhere that often features in the news.....
