I remember Baltimore (Friendship, BAL, now BWI) as a linear building around 1960 - of course I could be wrong.
I've looked at recent pictures of Cleveland and can't see where this terminal would have fit - of course I could be wrong..

The general layout reminds me of Montreal (Dorval) aka CYUL - now renamed Pierre Trudeau. Even with the new additions the terminal is squashed into the corner of the airfield next to Cargo Road C.

Mel's Challenge
Sorry fellers it is not any of those mentioned:- Baltimore,Cleveland or Monreal. Here is another photograph of the terminal before they added the finger. I wonder if that is the good Colonel's aircraft.

Yet another try, Lexington, KY. The runway / taxiway pattern looks plausible.

Which aerodrome??
Sorry guys,
I will have to hand this one to you. I have been searching for one of a grassy, wet field in the South of the UK and I have not had any luck.
If you will take words, instead of a picture, it was round, and had, what are now known as, jetways to keep the customers dry on their way out to the aircraft.
I think the CAA buried it??

Don't suppose the round building would be the Beehive by any chance? The metal tracks that the jetways rolled out on are still there in the carpark as it is now.

MAZ11 got it .
I must have told you too much. I first saw it as a kid riding my bike to see the Spitfires/Seafires outside the Airwork hangers.
There was a DH Rapide at the Beahive with the "jetway" awning in use.
I later landed there when it was still all grass, in a Miles Magister, and the water went over the top of the aircraft as the place was so wet!!
I went on to fly for Dan Air and BUA before leaving the country so the fact that anything remains of the terminal is a wonder to me.

It certainly is still there. I worked in there back in 1960 when Air Couriers had their drawing office there before their hangar was built. There used to be a footpath tunnel to the Beehive from the Old Gatwick Airport Railway Station. I am sure today it is still used as Offices.

Here's another for your amusement. The '4X' registration on the Noratlas is not a clue, as he was some way from home. As were we, with four RAF Whirlwind HAR10s and an Argosy in support...

The Beehive (LGW)
Helps when you work for the company that owns it at the moment, (Sunny old GB Airways), and yes its still very much in use, listed building I think.
Anyway not got a clue on the other picture!
