I can't take the credit for the graphics, go to the website indicated for more of the TSR2 and other would be (or should have been) greats.

BEagle
having flown the Hunter, Vulcan and VC10
Respect!!!! Yes, three magnificent ones. Almost anything with a delta wing gets my vote.

For civils, it is VC-10 (and the Super even more so) which is triumphant. I am biased as she was my first flight, aged 9, and the lines are the finest. Concorde is in a Catergory of her own.

To be controversial, no tri-motor can ever look pretty. The 727 may have been very fast but she looks terrible.

But shirley, the DH121 Trident 3B is just loverly...

(OK, it's a 4 motor really, even if no.4 was rarely used. 5 if you include the APU!)

I can accept a Mustang challenging a Spit on some areas (esp. range) - but looks - No way

The Sea Harrier FRS1;

If I had a brain I'd post a pic, see www.harrier.org.uk/history

I once heard a product support chap explaining to his secretary what the pitot probe was for:

" oh, I thought that was for styling" !!!
