Clayton Scott 1905-2006

"Scotty" was chief production test pilot for Boeing until his retirement 40+ years ago. He is believed to have flown more B-17s than any other pilot.

In retirement he operated the Jobmaster Company at the seaplane ramp at the north end of Renton Airport (renamed Scott Field last year in his honor). Jobmaster rebuilt Howard DGA's as floatplanes during the 60s & 70s.

An obit is also in today's Wall Street Journal.
