Castle Combe circuit under threat

A little off the beaten track for this forum, however, I know many aviation enthusiasts are also fans of motorsport and of course the threat from the noise NIMBYs also affects airfields. And of course, Castle Combe is also a circuit based on the peri track of an old airfield.

Castle Combe in Wilts apparently has a couple of new neighbours (so I gather) that have decided that the noise of the circuit is too distracting for the poor dears.

An online petition is here:

I was the 7,000 signatory. If you haven't experienced one of the driving days at Castle Combe you are missing a great experience. Go and do it.
