Angel Shuttleworth 30's Air Day piccies

Another very pleasant afternoons display at wonderful Old Warden
The Avro Tutor was rolled onto the flightline to show off its new scheme, and wonderful it is too.

The rest in no particular order,. Praise must go to the pilots for putting up with some tricky wind conditions. The mock air race got spirited at times too. The Chilton goes like stink!!

On with the piccies

Time to pack up and go home.

Great pics MOTF, thank you.
What type of aircraft is the little red monoplane, AESZ? Cute little thing.

Great shots! 'twas indeed a good day; I was permitted to park next to the Tutor and agree that it looked very smart indeed.

Minor moan - the PA is too loud with Jeremy on the mike!

That was you in NRG then. I did wonder.

Sorry Beags, I saw NRG parked but couldnt find Airbedane in time to point you out - he was otherwise engaged anyway. Then you were taxing out for take off (not a good time to introduce myself)

We shall have a cunning plan next time.

Airbedane had a rather more interesting distraction yesterday, in fact! We had a good chat later on - he hasn't changed much in the 30 years I've known him.

Hope to see you next time!

Hope you liked the colour scheme of 'RG - it was my own design! And we have 3 others in the same colours now!

A very good day out, I thought; marred only by someone with not very much to say, saying it repeatedly, too loudly and using too many words in the process. No, not the girlfriend, the chump on the PA!

I fell in love with the Miles Speed Six. Want one. Couldn't walk past it, therefore didn't ever get as far as the Tutor or BEagle's mount.

Would quite like to experience a Cornell, too, one day. Understand from a chum there yesterday that we do wicked flick rolls.

Bumped into a couple of folk but was primarily there to exchange Pitts bits with the Chilton driver.

motf, think we half recognised each other towards the end but neither had the courage/ingenuity to prompt an introduction!

Stik

The Chilton driver is has a cunning plan involving two photogs, some Pitts and an airfield in a place that makes red cheese. We may meet then

Two of you made very enjoyable pics, as interestingly you posted different angles of quite a few guests.
Thanks again for uploading
