Delta Jets Fly-In Piccies

What a cracking day. Lovely weather, a cracking brekkie in AV8 and boys with their toys.

A big thanks to all at Delta for putting the show on, and to all the pilots and ground crews for their excellent displays. It was a challenge shooting into the sun all day, but well worth the effort.

I think DamienB is trying to tell me that I am number 1

Oh no he's just waving.

To give the restaurant some business, and avoid having to shell out loadsamoney for temporary toilets on the south side. Apparently permanent toilets are being constructed south side this winter so hopefully next year events will be all back on the south side too.

Oh cracking shot MOTF - do bung me a couple of large copies of those last two, won't you?

Your pics... any more?

MOTF & DamienB,

Some lovely pics... was wondering if you had anymore of the Vampire and JP coming in together - I'm flying the Vamp and would love copies (and/or full res versions) if you do. If you could email some then that'd be great. ([email protected])

Cheers,

Andrew.

Cheers Andrew

I have a few more, mostly similar. Alas the sun made life a tad difficult at that time in the morning.

I will have a look this evening and get back to you. Did you fly the display as well?

Thanks so much, that'd be great.

No, I didn't fly the display - Paul Morris did that... nice display too, smooth and graceful. I'm hoping to have my DA for next season though, hope I can do as well!

Look forward to seeing the pics! (BTW, I'm the bald guy getting out of the Vamp in Damien's pic!)

P.S. don't mind how similar they are and sorry for asking you to send large files by email!

Flap40 - yep!

CityFlyer - will bung em your way tonight along with the other shots we discussed. Didn't get a chance to yesterday as I popped down to Heathrow for some Concorde piccies.
