Airservices seeks new Head Air Traffic Controller
The "Peter Principle" lives. The current Head ATC at AsA leaves for greener ICAO pastures whilst the decks tilts ever so slightly more towards the floor of the Pacific (OK I know it was the Atlantic but how about some poetic licence and recognition of what D&G's about).
True to form anyone who actually has experience as an ATC in Oz will automatically be ineligible for the position. Did anyone hear the whisper that an unamed board member and CEO have been shopping in NASville USA? Prior experience in the aviation industry at large would indicate that someone with an accountancy degree would fit the bill just perfectly... |

Don't worry George. I will start my empire building now and you, me, quentin and the irishman will be running this joint.

So Dumbarse is finally gone. I'll always remember with fond memories his botched attempts at introducing the E corridor to MIA narrower than the navigational tolerances of the aircraft and his head in the sand attitude when challenged about it. Hey Ferris you can have Southern FIR and i'll take the North as the Melbourne Winters are too cold for me now.

Corridors, oh buggar.:yuk: :yuk: :yuk:
It's still there guys, and the latest rumour is it stays come November 27! Plenty of ED available, could you do the HATC stuff in your overlaps???? |
