Passing of Bernie Sarroff.

Those who frequented RNAC in the NSW Hunter Valley will remember BJ Bernie Sarroff, past President and CFI for many years. I just spotted an obituary notice for him dated 16.1.2024. He started my flying journey many years ago and I remember him fondly.

Vale, BJ. Fond memories of the odd gentle clip over the ear when I were but a young sprog. Time catches up with us all.

Fond memories still of Stan Hone.

How is Jack Blackwell going, these days ? Did my PPL nav's with him. Many fond memories.

Too much reminiscing and we'll have tears in the eyes.

Did my commercial with Jack Blackwell many years ago. Flew with Stan and Bernie also, Jack passed away some years ago.
