How surprising that the company owned by the chairman of the Kimberley Development Commission gets funding like this…

Except that the Shire is not the State Government, which is where the KDC fits. This is really an extension of an ongoing service that has been running with a KingAir for a couple of years, that has been jointly funded primarily by the City of Karratha, Town of Port Hedland and Shire of East Pilbara. Funnily enough, back in the day it was going to receive some DPIRD funding until a certain minister chucked a wobbly because a former opposition MP appeared in an Aviair commercial!

Big step up in capacity from a B200 to a DHC8-400...... Hope they can fill the seats.

Have they even got it on the AOC yet?

Hope they can get some pilots, no other turbo props operators are having much luck.

Anyone know what they're paying? Heard 100-120k for Kingair...

Was very low 100's to fly the king air and mustang. Might have changed
