Masks

......so we are all wearing them at work from Wednesday.
Fair enough, I guess, but after 10 months of ..
"The use of surgical masks in aviation settings, is not considered to be an effective way of preventing infection"
I'd hardly call that the cutting edge of "Leaders in Safety".

Re 'but after 10 months of......'

Sorta lika makes it sound like...they are next going to be worn on the 'other end' for all the (?) 'good' they do...............

Rotsa Ruck...............

A mask doesn't do much for you but it cuts the chance of you infecting someone else.......

goodonyamate 26th Oct 2020 08:29

It’s about perception and nothing else.

ScepticalOptomist 26th Oct 2020 08:45

Exactly This.

I wonder if there will be an increase in the amount of staff taking a very long time to sip their coffee as they walk through the terminal? 🤔

....therefore if other people are wearing masks then that cuts the chances of THEM infecting YOU. :ugh:

If YOU don't have/get it you can't pass it on to someone else. :uhoh:

Personally not convinced but with the number of cases going nuts overseas if there's some benefit Vs personal "preferences" probably a fair price to pay.

Anyone who's got this virus pegged and want's to pontificate to the masses the future - go ahead, throw in the winning tattslotto numbers for next week and you'll have my fullest attention! :ok:

Yes..........more bullying from the politicians. Probably justified in a medical setting.
In a supermarket, very doubtful.... Outdoors, totally unnecessary....
I do not like them, you cannot see peoples faces nor hear them clearly...

Right.....but I'm leading with the false hypocrisy of initiating with, 'not part of your uniform' and 'not endorsed by the WHO' 10 months ago.
Suddenly........ huh
