IndiGo wants to take Virgin Australia back to its LCC roots
Indian LCC IndiGo said to be in the ring for Virgin Mk II. IndiGo is big on A320s, has mostly A320neo and A321neo jets, all economy seating. Can't see much of today's Virgin Australia remaining if IndiGo takes over, not even Branson's brand. Anybody for 'AussieGo'?

https://www.executivetraveller.com/n...w-cost-carrier Could Rex tie up with Alliance ? Rex do trunk routes & get Alliance to do low frequency regional routes using mix of F70/100 depending on demand. From what I understand, F100s are cheaper per seat, but F70s cheaper per mission & same crews. |
It all news to Indigo.
InterGlobe Aviation has clarified that the company has not formulated any proposal or has shown interest in Virgin Australia. |
Interesting TT738. Doesn't QF have a holding in Alliance?

Looks like we are down to 19 bidders now.
19 bottles of beer on the wall, 19 bottles of beer..... |
Oops my mistake I thought it was another bnea320 fantasy thread....
|
I’ve wondered if the “20” is the total of the investors involved, not 20 different groups. One bid may involve 10 different interested investors, for example?
|
It goes to show you that there is a LOT of bull**** media out there, creating fictitious news to fill a column so they can get paid. Paid for writing lies.
As some say: "Fake News". Disgusting really. |
Oh, I see....perhaps it's like buying a house, and the agent says that there is a lot of interest, and you should put in an offer a bit higher, because there was a nice couple looking at it yesterday, and they just sold their property in Tasmania and......

Obviously there is a bunch of confusion between IndiGo Airlines in India and the Indigo that owns Frontier.
|
There shouldn't be ANY confusion from the "journalist" writing the article, they got the name spot on and anyone who's been to india would confirm the Indigo livery in the picture.
Bar room talk (or equivalent in todays environment) or out and out bull****?? That, dear readers, is the question! Cheers. :ok: |
