I love their mission statement:

Our mission

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.

Says on their “About Us” the flights will be operated by a Metro, not a Conquest.

Schedule doesn’t seem that friendly either. Surely a morning and evening flight would be better for business travellers.

Sharpies don't have a lot of availability in the peak periods, based on discussions I have had with them when trying to sub a charter to them ex EN.

How does this pass muster with CASA? From my experience borrowed AOC RPT operations are usually just an invitation to be grounded by the regulator.

E-W? But they are flying N-S?...lol
0730 dep EN would be better who knows what goes on behind the scenes there?
I wish them luck, they sure are entitled to try I guess!:-)

Alliance seems to be doing just fine flying for VA and themselves...

They both have High Capacity AOC's under a codeshare agreement. Noone is borrowing anything.

East West appear to be a website selling RPT tickets on a Sharp chartered Metro, a practice which has generally been frowned upon by CASA.

How does CASA still allow marketing carriers such as East West.

Good to see their first flight hasnt sold any tickets.....

Over the years, I've only ever come accross a handful of charter requests for this route. So, is there really a market for Griffith to Melbourne?

No. Hazelton/Rex have been trying to make it work for years, on and off.

They put an aircraft on the route for a little while, see very low passenger numbers and then they stop again.
