Just read this. I wonder if this was the same A320 of Tigerair that did Melbourne to Canberra departing ML 1030 Tuesday 19 June. I was a passenger and first time in an A320 and my first flight as a passenger in ten years. While taxing at Melbourne I was aware of a exhaust gas smell throughout the cabin which persisted all the way to Canberra. It wasn't serious but faintly noticeable. I thought it must be a A320 characteristic. I figured the cabin staff must have been aware of the odour so I kept quiet..
