Jetconnect to Check and Train Qantas Pilots
 

As part of the restructure going on at Jetconnect to operate VH tails on Qantas' AOC, all Flight Instructors and Examiners at Jetconnect have been advised that they will be converted onto CASA licences with the appropriate approvals to then check and train Qantas group pilots, not Just Jetconnect Pilots.

So we've been told so far Jetconnect will continue to operate as they have always done, only Tasman flying, no Domestic Australia, but their Training department will step in and Train Qantas Pilots?? I feel the door to outsourcing labour off shore is wide open if this goes ahead, hang on it already is.....

From what I understand Jetconnect are still negotiating a collective, I only hope they can avhieve some real gains to conditions
