Last Air New Zealand 767 flight departs SYD
 

ANZ108 has departed Sydney to Auckland. This is the last 767 flight before Air New Zealand retires the type.

let's hope there was a water cannon salute and a flight over the harbour involving helicopters taking pictures, oh wait, that only happens with...

Great aircraft. Still nothing can touch the 767 for economy class comfort with its 2x3x2 seating. Far better than today's 9 and 10 abreast sardine cans.

.....those that organise it. I don't think Qantas paid for the helicopters either.

Did AirNZ do anything special for th retirement of the jet in NZ?

I found it the best mix of automatics and manual of any new pax aircraft.

so true, and so much comfortable than a 737.

NZs 777 were/are pretty comfy.

Emphasis on *were*. Their current 777s are a horrendous abomination behind the curtain.

Kegs right, Qantas organised the flyover, and the choppers were not paid for by Qantas, one was private, one was media.
