Move over Qantas

Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent branded business valuation and strategy consultancy has named Aeroflot as the world's strongest airline brand globally in 2017.

I assume we will see Air Asia as the safest next !

Dan_Brown 14th Feb 2017 09:42

An outfit is only as safe as it's last flight, is it not? Don't count the chickens...

Capn Bloggs 14th Feb 2017 11:00

Hold it. Has this been independently verified by airlineratings.com?

LostProperty 15th Feb 2017 03:52

Be that as it may, if there were half a dozen "top" airlines and Aeroflot each with a plane lined up at Moscow and all offering free round-the-world trips, the Aeroflot would be the last to fill.

Aeroflot as the world's strongest airline brand globally in 2017.
Doesn't say safest.

No accounting for some people's taste!! :}

Deejaypee 15th Feb 2017 10:25

Probably more to do with the amount of Rubles and Pesos paid than taste I would suggest!

Just an observation, why would anyone in their right mind expect Qantas to be in the top 10, let alone 20 or 30? It's a bit player in a global market with limited brand appeal or exposure.

Its a joke based on some other recent 'independent' findings.

Pretty sure after seeing Aeroflot on the list, every airline and their loyal unsound minded customers would expect to be on the list. The focus was on the credibility of the list not necessarily that QF should be there.

Now the fact that the airlines appear in alphabetical order triggers my b*****t detector straight away.

Actually, Qantas has been high on similar lists for many, many years, even globally but obviously with the fact they don't fly to as many places in Europe anymore their market presence has reduced. However, despite what this rubbish survey says, Qantas is still one of the most recognizable brands in the world.

tail wheel 20th Feb 2017 17:47

The previous alphabetical list comes from THE TELEGRAPH and appears to be BS.

This BRAND FINANCE article seems to be more believable.
