Video is not from today but may last year

Melbourne media just using old footage then. Was some pretty ordinary conditions in MEL today though. Only 100,000 houses without power.. Just trying to top South Australia's effort!

Yeah nah, the Welliwood wind is invariably almost always down the strip....it's the rotor that's the problem in Welliwood...

Approaching late afternoon/evening going off Sun position as it's 34 arrival.
Video posted at lunchtime. On the weather front it wasn't wet this morning as there are puddles over the road not to mention it wasn't completely overcast today. |

Not that I don't believe you, but do you have some info to back your claim up?

It was from last year 5/5/15 The biggest giveaway is the brown grass -- Melbourne hasn't been so green for years, it ain't brown |
Thanks.

"crosswind landing" - I was looking for him to land on a really really short, really really wide runway.....
|
Would of been a nice day to go flying. About 6 or 7 go arounds/windshear escape maneuvers. Highest wind reading gusted to 57 kts.
