QF Fokker 100 at YPPH - Fumes in Cockpit...
QF Fokker 100 has 'Fumes in cockpit' at YPPH...Aircraft evacuated.
No Cookies | Perth Now Nil injuries, all good! |
Fumes??
Im assuming the smell of fuel or oil through the packs, not that uncommon on the fokker worse on the 70. |
What, someone assuming here on Pprune.........nah can't be.:{
|
Yes true assuming, haha
|
Picture in this Morning's West Australian.
FIFO IDIOTS with their hand baggage on the tarmac!!!!!!! :\:*:ugh: |
"QF Fokker 100"?
I assume you mean Qantaslink branded, Network operated and Qantas owned/purchased F100 operating with a QF Flight number and rego callsign. Confusing? :suspect: |
Network is a wholly-owned subsidiary of QF, just like Sunstate and Eastern, TL. Pull ya head in.
|
Gotta love GT's spin on the F100 in the Sat West.
"The fleet of Fokker 100s based in WA is typically at one-third of their design life" rather than comment on the age of the 23year old aircraft. Don't tell me the Fokkers have another 46 years left in them! |
|
Nuffink to see here, move on now.
Jist 102 gits on the slides, jist an little emergency evacuation, only two to 'ospital, nuffink to concern you selves with. Don't know why the press even bothered to publish. |
Hey Bloggs,
Are you still fantasising over that fokker lass. Perhaps you should move onto something more contemporary, like Elle Macpherson or Penny Wong .......:p |

Only if you're a Crew Member of a Russian Airline operating them (with tongue firmly in cheek).
|
Does anyone know which F-100 it was?

Bloggs,
I was merely pointing out that for the media and general public, it may be a somewhat confusing set-up regarding Network/Cobham/Qantaslink/Qantas etc. Nothing sinister! |
Given that most media reported plane crashes are made in Cessnas. And that the travelling public generally judge a flight on the nano-seconds of touchdown, I'd reckon one look at the roo on the tail, and there'd be no confusion at all.
It'd have to be an Ansett plane, 'ey! :} |
