Jetgo new route

Jetgo Facebook page announced a new secret route this morning!
Ok who's got the gossip:O

Horatio Leafblower 4th Sep 2015 07:53

YPEC-YSSY probably.

teggun 4th Sep 2015 08:30

Hi,

Would they do that distance in a jet.

Horatio Leafblower 4th Sep 2015 08:35

Teggun,

The first "distance" problem would be the length of the runway... but since the OP is in Belmont, I thought I would have a stir.

:ok:

I would bet $50 that it will be SYD-NAA. One of the senior management at Jetgo has been bragging to public servants for months that they already have the route.

Edit: I'll withdraw that wager (since nobody accepted it) - word from Narrabri is that they will be seeking presentations from both of the proponents before a meeting of the full council.

teggun 4th Sep 2015 10:29

Hi Horiato,

Sorry about that, should have realised it was tongue in cheek, however if it is the same senior management at Jetgo that I am thinking of nothing would surprise me.

Cheers

4th time a charm? Ha I'd bet not

VH-FTS 6th Sep 2015 08:05

So they couldn't make what's left of the low hanging fruit work I.e. Roma and Gladstone, but somewhere like Narrabri will be profitable?

Fieldmouse 6th Sep 2015 08:59

Coffs - Brisbane

Is the route with un-met demand and security in place at both ends.

TwoFiftyBelowTen 6th Sep 2015 12:17

Jetgo new route

OOL-ROK-TSV or something?

Ned Stark 6th Sep 2015 19:00

"Is the route with un-met demand and security in place at both ends."
I'm sure that's all taken care of With the suburb management running the show! :hmm:

swh 6th Sep 2015 22:55

Skystar320 7th Sep 2015 10:53

Darwin - East Timor

GADRIVR 7th Sep 2015 12:01

Maybe they've done what "My name is ********" couldn't!!

wishiwasupthere 7th Sep 2015 12:07

Dubbo - Melbourne.

Horatio Leafblower 7th Sep 2015 13:12

Dubbo-Melbourne it is indeed, according to a media release on their Facebook page.

...headed "Media release embargoed until 6am Tuesday 8th September" :hmm:

GADRIVER: don't forget the Dixie Chicks.

Stationair8 7th Sep 2015 23:40

Interesting, could be a winner bypassing Macquarie International.

Last time I travelled out of Melbourne to Dubbo it was five and half hours of travelling.

log0008 8th Sep 2015 05:23

might be a silly question but what airport will they use in Melbourne, i assumed Essendon but could be wrong?

bagthrower 8th Sep 2015 08:06

i assumed Essendon but could be wrong?
You assumed Correct, from the main terminal I believe

Goat Whisperer 8th Sep 2015 09:00

Don't jets need security?

Fieldmouse 8th Sep 2015 09:33

Yep

Over 20 tonne needs the full enchilada of security, even if its powered by good intentions
