QFA6160

Can anyone shed any light as to what QFA6160 is doing. On 'Flightradar24' select the route, presently 80nm NE Melbourne. 0152z.

Could it be AJ's effort at finding MH370? :oh:

wishiwasupthere 23rd Mar 2014 02:46

Chemtrailing?

:}

Tagneah 23rd Mar 2014 02:52

Either:

1. Acceptance or proving flight for a new owner or following maint, or

2. Trying to draw a dick and balls on "Flight Radar 24"

Perhaps AJ is "navigating" - it would seem consistent with the direction he is taking the Qantas Group !!

Role on.....

It was flying RPT services only 1.5 days beforehand, can't be much major maintenance done in that time.

I vote for Tagneah's second option.:D

DirectAnywhere 23rd Mar 2014 03:23

Charity flight I reckon.

Anything with a 6000 flight number is usually a charter flight.

Interesting slinky over the Tasman on the departure path
Qantas (QF) #6160 ? FlightAware

Tagneah's on the money with option 2. And it looks like the pilot used to work on the pearling boats in his youth.....

And the hold SE of Sydney just "tops" the imagery off.

clark y 23rd Mar 2014 04:30

I like how it skilfully avoids the ACT. Wouldn't want to put chemtrails over Canberra.

Tagneah 23rd Mar 2014 04:46

Should probably get those lumps looked at though. I didnt think the 76 went to Bangkok nowdays?

compressor stall 23rd Mar 2014 05:41

Not if he's a pearler. He'd have put em there. Be careful when you look up pearling (body modification) on Wikipedia. :ooh:

I haven't laughed so much at a message board thread in ages! Very funny.
