Air Pacific US pilots

I have heard that Air Pacific are taking on a bunch of US pilots. Any truth to this rumor, and if so, what happened to all the Aussies there? What are the current contracts like?

Would have to be close to the lowest paid 737 drivers in the world once you convert your well earned KIWI dollars to real money.
Most australians have real issues with this place and some of the attitudes there towards expats. Its a last resort desperation type of job.!:=
