Given it is not a public department what's the story? Is it some backdoor way of a law firm trying to drum up lawsuits? The fact that the domain name is owned by Qantas is a bit suspect. The whole thing is a toothless tiger anyway because the Advocate has no power to make binding decisions. |
I heard a spokeswoman from them interviewed by phone on ABC radio this morning. After she used the phrase "The airlines are committed to this process" twice, Red Symons hung up on her. I was rolling on the floor laughing.

Another way to deflect from the real aviation issues - Safety!
Standard goverment tactic to allegedly show it is active within aviation. Set up a website with the Rat. Nice one. Let's concentrate on broken bag handles, salad wraps containing brown lettuce, lost panama hats onboard the NTL/BNE service, how about 'ramp staff throwing my bag too hard', hosties who won't smile, and the old favorite of 'some bastard stole my moth eaten cardigan out of my locked 1960's suitcase'. Yep, an utter load of bollocks and pony pooh. |
