Gobby relative...

G'day lads,
Had a relly fly from SYD to brissy on DJ925 this morning, they are now gobbling off about how "the stupid pilots got lost and landed at the goldy by mistake". "they left the radio on so I heard them failing while they spoke to ATC".

I'm sure that there was an operational reason for it. Before I tell them to pull their head can anyone fill me in on why they diverted?

Brisbane Airport website shows DJ925 SYDBNE today (27th November) on the gate in Brisbane 10 mins ahead of schedule at 09:20.
