QF Shareholders - Who is Bronwyn Austen?

Qantasshareholders.com.au directs shareholders to appoint Bronwyn Austen as proxy for the upcomming AGM.

I've never heard of her and google didn't reveal anything.

Can someone direct me to a biography or give a reason to appoint her?

Cheers.

She may be the wife of a recently retired Qantas pilot, who is a really good guy, and not concerned about any possible 'payback'. I'm sure that she is a lovely lady as well. :ok:

She'd have to be a pretty robust character to put up with Bill! :ok: :}

That is also my understanding and I have appointed her as proxy.

Just to add to conductor's comments. I didn't hesitate in appointing her as a proxy- even if she has shown some poor taste in marrying a Collingwood supporter. :ok:

So the consensus is she is trustworthy and a suitable proxy.

Hopefully this will bring some change... :)

Most definitely.

You can also use William Austen, the aforementioned retired captain - a good bloke in every respect; especially when the 'Pies lose.:ok:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't matter who you nominate as a proxy. As long as you direct them them how you want to vote, that is what will happen.

Non-chair proxy holders can no longer "cherry pick" whether they exercise directed proxy votes.

For anyone going to the AGM I have worked out another reason why the venue was chosen. I attended the venue recently and discovered that parking around NSW Uni is absolutely terrible at the best of times.

Catch a bus or a cab because otherwise you may not get there on time. For anyone sitting in the third row, four from the right.... I stashed a kilo of tomatoes under the seat...they should be primed by next Friday... ;)
