More rats at Qantas
Another family of rats have been found onboard a Qantas aircraft. This time in the forward galley next to the AED (defib machine). A crew member took photos of the family of pink, bald baby rats and was told to immediately to delete them by a company manager.

Careful there with that last comment, that will open the flood gates & will yet again have the mods reaching for their pad locks of which stocks are surely getting low:E

Is fumigation an option in an aircraft? That's the preferred option for ship holds and warehouses I believe.

What happens when a rats nest becomes the point of ignition for a fire?

I have always said DO NOT EAT the FOOD unless it sealed in plastic.

Is there a Neil Perry recipe for Qantas ratatouille ?

Seems the vermin at Qantas aren't just confined to Coward St...:ooh:

Who'd have thought....
It was only a matter of time.
Rats are attracted to rotting carcasses. |
QF cabin, whats wrong with a bit of humour, God only knows we need it. Airlines were built on humour, otherwise we would have cried. Lighten up.:D

Many years ago TN had a B737 that had a family of rodents in that that just didn't want to leave the plane, no matter what.
After all sorts of measures were tried the solution was found............Suffocate them. The aircraft was parked "on the fence" with all of its external orifices sealed off and a number of CO2 cylinders were placed in the cargo holds. One, two, three..........Open the cylinder valves, jump out of the cargo holds and slam the doors, come back a day later and hunt for the bodies !!! Problem "Solvered" with no nasty chemicals ! ST |
QFCabin,
You resemble my remark I presume........:p |
I heard it was a pack of Gerbils smuggled onboard !!
