Simple question and equally simple answer - NO!!
They are a lazy bunch with no wish to ensure the story is correct. Even if they decide to gather facts by interviewing stakeholders, they only then print/report what they wish, to ensure the story reads/sounds like they want it to - primarily to ensure sales of the copy they have produced. |
