VIRGIN PACIFIC- it is !
New name for the group is Virgin Pacific or VPAC, livery yet to be released.

Pretty Predictable really when you think about it!!!
|
April Fool???
Just wondering..... |
Yes, I think the date says it all. But on a serious note... If that were to be the new name, it does play off quite well against "Virgin Atlantic," IMHO.

what an un-imaginative crap name....:eek:
Virgin Atlantic Virgin Pacific Virgin Indian Ocean Virgin Black Sea Virgin Torres Straits Virgin Med Virgin Arctic :8 |
I doubt this is true.
Why would a company trying to attract corporate accounts use that jumped up little turd Justin Beiber to market their product? It would scare them all off! My money is on Virgin Australia. |
I think we can rest reasonably assured that the new name will not be announced first an an anonymous pilot chat internet forum......:}
Not saying it isn't going to BE Virgin Pacific, in fact I give it better than 50% chance, but we all just have to be a little more patient. JB has instructed his V Australia EBA negotiating team to get down and dirty and have the pilot deal bedded down before the end of April, so that's obviously some deadline looming on their calendar. I suspect the result of the PIA-rhetoric being circulating around in union circles at the moment, isn't going to go particularly well with the brand overhaul....... |
Surprisingly ... :ugh: VB haven't issued a press release!?! Methinks someone got 'got'
|
Love the rickroll where it links you to Virgin's 'preview promotional video' :}

A330 reveals first hints of new Virgin Blue livery | Australian Aviation Magazine
http://australianaviation.com.au/wp-...IN-300x182.jpg VH-XFA at Sydney, evidently sporting the first elements of Virgin Blue's new livery. (Lee Gatland) Virgin Blue’s first Airbus A330-200, VH-XFA, had decals applied to it at Sydney Airport today which appear to hint at the airline’s new livery. Photos show the aircraft featuring a new version of the Virgin ‘flying lady’ on the aircraft’s nose, plus a red band around the engine cowling. No further markings, such as titles or logos, and certainly no evidence of the airline’s much anticipated new name, have as yet been applied to the ex Emirates aircraft. The decals were applied this morning in the open at Sydney Airport’s Bay 94. http://australianaviation.com.au/wp-...op-300x182.jpg A close-up of XFA's 'flying lady'. (Lee Gatland) The airline is due to place its first two leased A330-200s into transcontinental domestic service next month. |
I noticed the other day that the white machines flying around have the rego decals applied in the same shade of silver.

I like it jb
|
Is it just me or is the Virgin 'Flying Lady' giving someone the 'bird'.
I guess nothing says F$%K YOU QANTAS like a 10 foot tall woman saying f$%k you QANTAS. :E |

Ahh psycho! Haven't had a laugh like that for a while...thank you!!! :)
|
I don't think it is saying f you Qantas. I think JB is still very passionate about the place, as he invested most of his life in it.
No, I think he is saying a big F you to the CEO and board of Qantas :D |
It's official, VirginStar!:}
|
So it looks like white will be the main colour then.
