Qantas Domestic Product Upgrade Details?

Hi all,

Some details of the new domestic product upgrades have been doing the rounds... In addition to the lounge and food upgrades apparently the following enhancements will be rolled out on the fleet:

*The new domestic style AVOD will be rolled out onto the GE B763 fleet. (The old RR B763 fleet will be replaced over the next 2 yrs with A332s from JQ once the get B787s)

*All B763/B737s and domestic A332s will be refreshed with the Intl style red Y class seat covers. Not sure what the plan is for the domestic J class seat?

Anyone have any more details??

Ho Humm

This revamp happens every few years for those with short memories.
All the old post menopausal managers in Cabin Services are getting moist over the news.
The shawls and slippers will be trotted out and the pet cats are up for a bit of extra stroking. All this while the network shrinks, decrewing is going on and Jetstar is set to take more destinations.
Holy Bat**** Allan!!

Hot bread rolls on other airlines perhaps!

No expense will be spared serving the Neil Perry inspired warm bakery options.

Where to find the lollies

Just check in the seat pocket, the way the cleaners are doing ther jobs (in limited time) you could find a Choo Choo bar in there together with all the boarding passes since the last "c" check. As for the Danish Butter....only available on sectors starting in Brisbane, courtesy of the Beautiful Airports Corporation.

Wrong, very wrong. I just went visual ! Nasty stuff...
Then again, smear them in Danish butter and they might just be edible!

What about the granny undies, panama hats and adult nappies ?

You may even find a 165 cm Irishman tucked away in one of those seat pockets !

The IFE/ PES on the 76 & classic 73 fleet is embarrassingly 1970's and 80's.Cassettes , VHS and projectors.Premium stuff.:hmm:

I think he is in a seat pocket

If he was smart he would be hiding in a seat-back pocket instead of giving press conferences demonstrating what he doesn't know about "his" company. Is that why the A380 has 4 engines????? TO BE SURE TO BE SURE?

Can someone please put in a word to Qantas management about the FF lounge at Darwin, please make if first in there re-vamp. No change in 4 years+. Crap food that NEVER changes, rude bar staff and cramped conditions. I now find myself out side the lounge as it's more pleasant outside than in.
