Virgin Atlantic advert... coming to Oz?

New Virgin Atlantic with a hint of James Bond.... finally something cheerful on pprune

Nice ad, but an atrocious rendition of that song. Would have been much classier if they had done like it a classic James Bond theme. If you can't afford Buble's version then at least get a nobody singer with a orchestra.

Tom Sawyer 18th Oct 2010 23:58

It is Muse's version of the song...probably cost more than Buble's version!

Thats awesome I love it!!!

Good AD for a change! :ok:

Brilliant, for all the Bond fans. Maybe the Virgin Blue add could have an Aussie theme, Mad Max perhaps!;)

Worrals in the wilds 20th Oct 2010 08:53

There's a few catering truck drivers at this airport that make Mad Max 2 look like learner driver stuff :E.
Nice to see a classy airline ad for a change!

Now that is one great ad.

It's nice to see some class finally back in the genre.

I guess I am comparing to the Ansett swan takeoff, TAA fly the friendly way and QF still call Oz home campaigns which were excellent. The old BOAC VC10 hushpower (hush with 4 Speys - yeah right!!) ads also had a touch of memorable class.

The East West ad with EWA rolling out of the hangar with fog on the floor still gets the biggest lump in the throat.

Damn good job and a pleasure to watch.

Best all
