Jetstar vs Aeropelican at Willytown

Here goes......... Apparently a Jetstar flight and Aeropelican flight played a game of inadvertent chicken a couple of nights ago at Williamtown. One on the ILS, the other circling to land in a CTAF situation.
Anybody know anything??

Heard from a regular flyer mate in Newcastle that Zerostar is under performing out of there.

Late, rude staff and poor landings.

What's going on?

nitpicker330 21st Dec 2009 12:25

yes I see how the poor landings are related to the rude staff and late arrivals.

From memory some poor wx. caused a missed approach. Both aircraft circled for the ILS. The Pelican was well in front and JST followed some distance behind. No big deal......:ugh:

So what exactly is your point???

There is nothing illegal about this.

GADRIVR 21st Dec 2009 20:10

Just a thought.
Qantas is involved in something no matter how small.....and the villagers are out with their pitchforks.
Jetstar does something (apart from the apparently bad service) and we hear..... nothing.
Seems there was a lot more to it than just "no big deal"
I didn't say anything about legalities :E

One thing to hear it over brews.....another to hear the facts as they are.
Just interested.
