Virgin E - Jet stuck at HBA
There has been plenty of E-Jet bashing in the past but the folk at HBA comment quite a bit about reliability............and today I saw it stuck there as well.
Any clues from those who know? J:ok: |
The sphincter valve blew out, spilling excess jungle juice into the nacelle causing the thronomeister to become U/S.
Due to V Australia soaking up all the spare cash, they can't afford to fix the problem until the company gets a cash injection from the equity market. :E |
Slow news day

I reckon a couple of bus loads of pax who wanted an hour and a half to Sydney instead of what I assume was a 4 hour trip to Brisbane and onto a 737 from there....but who cares!
I was just interested I guess, locals seem to have the view the Jungle Jet service is not as reliable, Jetstar are pulling out of HBA soon or may have by now, so I guess while it is a bit of "so what" topic, it does have some slightly bigger picture ramifications for the VB folk and the tourism industry as well as the locals. Green Goblin seems to be on the money! :ok: |
Must have been a bad day in Hobart, Tiger went u/s on the bay and subsequent flight cancelled.
