ozangel 10th Jul 2009 06:52

Why would you defend her? Unless you are her? Even her deputies could never stand her. The only friends she had merely hung around in case the powers that be finally realised how incompetent she was and needed a quick replacement.

Is it true AJ (ex O7 and TT) has moved into a management role at strategic?

Crew rest. 10th Jul 2009 09:54

Simply, Ozangel, I am not AC.

;)

Crew rest. 11th Jul 2009 01:12

AJ?? I think so!
Wrong again.

:)

The only friends she had merely hung around in case the powers that be finally realised how incompetent she was and needed a quick replacement.

Are these same people "friends" of yours too?

:ooh:

ozangel 11th Jul 2009 01:19

Generally no. ???

Criticism

Some of you lot should read the forum rules.. as for AC, if it's who I think you're talking about I don't agree with anything that's been said..
It's very easy to criticize someone when you can do it under the umbrella of anonymity.
The fact that no-one knows who you are is enough anyway, if you criticize and slander someone like her then you're not worth the effort to know anyway.
Why don't you just get over it and confine your comments to general industry comment rather than bagging everyone in sight..

According to my spy, there has been 2 737's registered now with the N reg at Perth Airport

Rego Changes and stuff

As reported on the 7th July by Timber. Rego changes to the OzJet aircraft were predicted and easily obtained from the US.
The fact that Flightstar Trading has reported one B737 sold and the balance pending as well as all other aircraft except RP-C8019 is not surprising. Most say they are past inspection and not airworthy.

Johor Bahru airport advises the ageing Belfast and B727-100F (RP-C8016) expected in July.

CASA must ramp check the birds before they "private flight" out of the country.
:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Ozjet 737's

I can confirm that I saw 2 of them in Perth last week.

Timber 23rd Jul 2009 01:55

VH-OZD

The registration process of ex VH-OZD as N731HL has been reversed. The registration is now listed as "reserved" for FlightStar LLC. The aircraft was last seen in Jakarta and probably it was sold from there. Who knows where it will end up...? Could even come back to Strategic???

THRidle 23rd Jul 2009 02:45

Jeeze, I hope not !!!!

Pine Tree Island 23rd Jul 2009 07:53

The NLK (OZD) aircraft was really reliable, it was OZX that upset everyone in the end.

Maybe X = D for dog.

Oh yes, OZD had the "lucky" Pine Tree on the tail, none of the rest of the OJ fleet did!!!...

Exgolfer 25th Jul 2009 09:54

Yes OZD was a great bird to fly in , and it was a great crew that operated it .:ok:
All the best to the US buyers of them now

SAD DAY.

People im sorry to say you have lost it all.
The man has a very very long history of destroying all before him including his own flesh and blood.
The process of putting him away has just begun.

Stay tuned.

Meantime another rumour has it that the new owner may be snivelling on his promise to look after staff entitlements as part of securing their vote for a deed of company arrangement. Is this true? If so, staff would have been better to have voted it down, forcing it to be wound up, and allowing them access to a GEERS payout. Liquidation may also have had the effect of opening a proper investigation into whether or not the former owners/management traded while insolvent. Had that happened they would be wetting their pants instead of laughing all the way to the bank.
Seems this saga has some time to play. Great for the lawyers; probably not so great for the former staff as any remaining money held by the Administrator gets gobbled up.

TAN65 1st Sep 2009 01:16

I have heard the same thing. As always the staff on the floor get short changed. So much for MJ appearing on TV with a $85K donation to some poor guy and saying he doesn't like to see people in hardship - well make good on your promise to pay out the Oz people and keep them out of hardship.

Cargo744 1st Sep 2009 02:06

MJ just showing his true colours. As there is no media exposure for doing the right thing by the ex OJ staff he will screw them to the wall. I feel for all the staff who have obviously been sold a massive lie by this snake... hopefully you guys may be able to do something about it and show the public how this guy truly operates!

Registrations

Three ex OzJet B737's have been parked at PER for a while now.

One carries the US registration N732HV and is registered in the name of WELLS FARGO BANK. Nothing wrong with that it seems.

The other two carry the registration N737HL (former VH-OZX) and N733HL (former VH-OZU). There is no record of these aircraft being registered in the USA according to the FAA website, although the registrations are reserved for the broker that is trying to sell them.

This is what a US Law (para 46306) has to say about improperly displaying registration marks on aircraft:

General Criminal Penalty.— Except as provided by subsection (c) of this section, a person shall be fined under title 18, imprisoned for not more than 3 years, or both, if the person knowingly and willfully displays or causes to be displayed on an aircraft a mark that is false or misleading about the nationality or registration of the aircraft;

'The process of putting him away has just begun.'

And who exactly was it that got locked up by the AFP for stealing four engines then?

SeldomFixit 1st Sep 2009 05:25

Aviation in Oz is a small pond. Don't tell me most of the players in this game weren't well aware of what they were getting into and with whom.
Back in the Stearman days, the SOP's of this lot were brutally obvious. Remember the B737's that appeared for East Coast work but vanished after languising at Mascot for months ?
