Vale Arthur cantrill

For those that remember and those who care.

Arthur Cantrill passed way on the 30th of Dec 2007.

Arthur flew with TAA/ Australian Airlines,Malaysian Airlines and Royal Air Cambodge.
I'm sure there is a GA history before this that someone can help with.
He retired from flying around 1999 (?) and remained in Asia until late this year when illness forced him to return.
I remember him once saying that he didn't like comming back to Australia.Said that all he could ever stand was about 2 weeks back in CNS ( I think to look after his sister's place) before he went stircrazy and had to go back to SEA.

Was a great help to me when I first went to Asia. Very generous with his knowledge.

Arthur was ex Bushies in Cairns pre TAA.I think the sister was Lana Cantrill the singer.

A true gentleman and also a bit of a lad.

Told me once he did alot of hours in a DHC6 for TAA doing surveilance work in south QLD.
