Complimenting QF cabin crew - best way to pass it on?

Hey all,

I recently came back from a few domestic trips with QF and have lodged feedback on their website complimenting some of the crew I encountered. For the record, every crew member on the QF flight was outstanding and I am extremely impressed with Qantas staff.

The website sent me an e-mail saying it was an automated process and my question is whether any QF crew know if it'll be worth me sending a letter of commendation in writing to QF's office? Will the crew member actually receive a copy and will a copy go in their HR file? If the feedback is just going to be used as scrap paper I don't think I'll bother, but the service was truly outstanding and I would like to show my appreciation. I think airlines probably hear too much criticism and too little praise.

Any help would be appreciated!

All feedback about cabin crew is sent to the crew member and recorded on their file, so if you send in a comment it will get to them. :ok:

thanks so much cokecropduster :)

Does that include the internet one or am I better off to send one in writing?

Thanks,

Personally I'd say you'd be better off sending it in writing.

...and airlines measure such things as complaints and compliments so it wont go unnoticed

You could say something like, "not only did she look like my mother, she looked after me just as well................":).

It's funny that a complaint will arrive in your file in about 28 minutes but a compliment will take about 3 months.

I've had mates write in lots of complimetary letters for me and I have not recieved any feedback from my Visitor yet, let alone a bonus from Geoff. Sucks..

[email protected] is the best way to ensure your feedback is received

QF skywalker
mate then it finds it's way to whatever cabin crew department you are in.then your visitor sees it and after that it could do anything from being filed in the bin or a letter to you.

i reckon lower has it right and if it's a dob you'll get a call on the blower at home faster than a ff telling you he wants an upgrade.but if it's a compliment i reckon you have a 50/50 chance of getting the good news
