Qantas Flight Simulators Essendon

4 years ago i got the chance to visit the Essendon flight simulators and watch pilots train on a 737-400. Any pilots out there fly the A330 or A320 that want to take me on a flight simulator ride. Its a life long dream on the Airbus. I'll pay anything..

I don't want to piss on your fire, but unfortunately with new security measures as a non-qf employee you won't be able to pull it off without someone doing a dodgy somewhere.:(

You could get a job in the q though, that'd make it easier to arrange, or join jetstar and fly them... :}

Anyone heard rumours to the effect Qantas has been negotiating to convert A380 Simulator orders back to A330 sims?

If you go to Gee Bees (pilot supplies shop at the main terminal building at Essendon), there's a poster in the window advertising a sim joy ride in a 737 of Air Nauru's. I'm not sure how old that poster is, so you might want to call Gee Bees and ask.

The advertised simulator flight is actually in a B737-300 simulator. The photo in the ad was selected purely because it looked good and is a Boeing 737-200.
