Jetstar to Darwin

Can anyone tell me why a Jetstar A320 was sitting on the tarmac at 0700 Tuesday morning in Darwin.

I believe they have just started their service to Darwin with a 0200 departure back to Melbourne.

You believe right. The last QF service direct to MEL was Monday morning.

Thinker, it could have been a delivery flight. Many of the new A320s have staged through DRW enroute to down south (YMML, YSWM, YSSY or where ever they get delivered to).

CC you could be right.
Did Jetstar's 0200 flight out of Darwin depart this morning without problems.
