QF CP resigns from AIPA

In the dummy spit of the year the CP has thrown his rattle and dummy out of the management pram and resigned from AIPA.

In a show of solidarity other management types have also headed for the AIPA exit door.

IMO this is a very good thing. It was always a conflict of interest. At least we dont have to politely ask them to leave at meetings now.

Also, AIPA members would be well served to ask some questions about the reasons involved with the legal counsels departure.

In particular check out what the previous administration signed into effect just before they handed control over to the ARG.

Is anyone really going to lose any sleep over this? I know I'm not!

ftrplt 23rd Nov 2005 22:42

what is it with you clowns who have to race each other to Prune to post any snippet of goss from Qroom?

Grow up.

blueloo 23rd Nov 2005 22:52

Bonvol, can you tell us a bit more about the thing they signed in before the changover, and details if you have any on the legal counsels demise? ... PM me if you dont want to post here.

bonvol 24th Nov 2005 04:33

PM sent Blueloo.

Hey Knuck,

what is it with you clowns who have to race each other to Prune to post any snippet of goss from Qroom?
Some of us are interested in what goes on in other (but closely related) pilot groups. We are all faced with the same problems, and it's interesting to see what you are up to.

RaTa 24th Nov 2005 08:57

I was not a fan of the legal counsel, however it sounds as though things were badly handled.

In my opinion the whole ARG thing has now a good chance in turning into a can of worms, which is a shame as there were some very good people on the ARG who I'm sure would have worked hard and done well for the QF pilot group.

I'm afraid the president and his secratary now have a very big question mark over their heads, at present their silence is deafening!!!!

LTBC 24th Nov 2005 11:06

Not to worry RaTa, I'm sure we'll all get some 'spin' to make us feel better and them look good again before too long!

ftrplt 24th Nov 2005 14:35

Capt Bloggs,

its none of your business.

Worry about your own backyard.

amos2 25th Nov 2005 08:45

What's that old definition of a Qantas pilot?...

a bloke who marries a prostitute and drags her down to his level!

Seems appropriate to me! :p :ok:

Capt Fathom 25th Nov 2005 10:15

Amos.
I would think that would be quite an insult to 99.9% of Qantas Pilots. What exactly do you mean?

Woomera 25th Nov 2005 11:00

Amos.

Enough!!

Woomera

relax737 27th Nov 2005 00:03

Amos enough! Is that the best Woomera can do, and not even remove the post.

Many of us may not be fond of the w**ker attitude of many QF pilots, but that was a bit over the top. And particularly from a former AN pilot, Bob.

Capn Bloggs 27th Nov 2005 00:58

Knuck,

That's charming esp after your PM! :ugh:

Worry about your own backyard.
Perhaps if you had helped out in the Impulse pilot's backyard (just over the fence from your backyard), you guys wouldn't be in the predicament you are in now.

blueloo 27th Nov 2005 01:08

Well the good news is that, whilst the little 2 year old tit-for-tat comments keep going about who has done what to who in the past, we keep reminding ourselves of why the race to bottom is still on, and will keep going, till we not only achieve it, we will probably kill ourselves to over-achieve it.

Well done.

king oath 29th Nov 2005 00:39

The CP has explained his action to the pilot group.

The action of AIPA becoming part of the ACTU may be something to do with it. Nobody asked the members what they thought.

Wait for the day the ACTU try to create a national strike day over some political event they don't agree with, in support of their Labor bruvvers. Will AIPA join in?

I'd like to see them try it on the AIPA membership.

Capn Bloggs 29th Nov 2005 01:00

Blue,

Ignore the past and you're history. We're looking to you guys for leadership. How about showing some instead of continually sniping. United we stand, divided we beg.

Besides, I haven't been tit-for-tatting for two years, only a few days.

lurker69 29th Nov 2005 01:01

After observing the latest goings on and the unbelievable megalomania, I predict he will be far from the last........

Australia2 29th Nov 2005 08:25

ftrplt,

That is the arrogant w@nker attitude that has got you to where you are now.
